OpenSEO review
Prices checked Nov 1, 2026 · Paid client · Affiliate link
OpenSEO is an SEO research tool priced by usage instead of a big monthly seat. It's worth a look if you pay for an Ahrefs or Semrush subscription and only pull data a few times a week.
OpenSEO is a paid client of mine, and this is an affiliate link. Weigh this page with that in mind.
Try OpenSEO →How much does OpenSEO cost?
| Plan | Usage included each month |
|---|---|
| Base | $10 |
| Pro | $36 |
| Agency | $240 |
Base is $10 a month. Pro and Agency include 20% more usage than you pay for. Usage is what the data costs them plus a flat 28%. A keyword search is about $0.05, and a rank check is a fraction of a cent.
Your saved projects, exports and Google Search Console data don't use any of it. Extra usage you buy doesn't expire, but you need an active plan to use it.
What's included?
Keyword research, backlinks, rank tracking, site audits and AI visibility tracking. It also works inside Claude, Cursor and ChatGPT, which is how I use it.
What did real research cost?
I ran the research for this site from Claude: 62 keywords plus 8 live Google results pages. It cost 44 credits. That's where I found searches like "higgsfield pricing", at 1,600 a month with a difficulty of 3.
What it won't do
It's a research tool. It tells you what to go after, and you still have to do the work.
