ManyChat is what I run every comment-to-DM reel on. Paid plans start at $14 a month billed yearly, and what you really pay depends on how many active contacts you have.

Paying monthly costs more. Essential connects 2 channels, Pro connects 3, and Business connects all of them.
Going over your contacts won't turn your automations off. You get billed for the overage instead, so a reel that takes off can cost you money. Overage is billed monthly even on yearly plans.
What goes wrong
When a reel of mine took off, ManyChat's own counter undercounted. The DMs still reached everyone, which I confirmed in the Instagram inbox.
At that volume, public comment replies stopped reaching people who didn't follow me. If you depend on those replies, plan for it.
The "next post" trigger failed to attach to my new reel three separate times. Now I switch the automation to that specific post right after publishing.
The post picker only takes one post. A new reel needs its own copy of the automation. Don't repoint the old one or the old reel goes dead.
